Description

Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo, specializing in Ultra Echo, is needed in a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including specialized procedures such as bubble studies, pharmacologic stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiograms, within an acute care hospital setting.

Job Details

  • Certifications required: ARDMS, BLS, CCI, ARRT Sonography, RDCS Adult*
  • Education requirements: Relevant licensure and certification as specified above
  • Location requirements: Candidate must possess a valid compact state license in hand at the time of submission
  • Years of experience: 0 required (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Additional requirements: Previous experience with adult acute care, outpatient, and pediatric acute care settings preferred, with proficiency in imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, and routine scanning of complex anomalies.
  • Responsibilities include performing detailed echocardiograms, particularly in adult and pediatric patients, utilizing specialized equipment, and adhering to clinical protocols.
  • Candidates should be able to work a block schedule, with flexibility to work three of the five major holidays as required.
  • Candidates must submit two references covering at least one year within the last three years during compliance, and responses to specific candidate questions regarding prior experience at a similar facility are required with submission.
  • Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination.
  • Modules are non-billable and must be completed during orientation and pre-start periods; time spent on modules is included in NBO hours.
