Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location: unspecified. This position involves evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs within a fast-paced hospital environment. The role includes performing assessments, establishing and revising care plans, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in a level 2 trauma center.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license or state ID, professional resume, professional references, and licensed or eligible to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT). Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a specialty in inpatient care.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 2 weekend days per month, and additional opportunities available if interested.
• Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, overseeing activities of support personnel, and engaging in real-time documentation using electronic medical records.
• The clinician will work across all hospital units, mostly located in one tower, serving patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, oncological, and general medical conditions.
• The department consists of a large team including core and prn physical therapists, occupational, and speech therapists, with training provided from the existing team.
