Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient in a hospital setting, focusing on evaluating and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized care plans, performing therapy interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, level 2 trauma center environment. The position is based on the day shift with scheduled weekend responsibilities, requiring adaptability to various medical conditions including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and oncological cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/11/2026 and ending 01/09/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid professional physical therapy license, relevant education or certification in physical therapy, and at least 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a level 2 trauma center and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: The clinician will work across multiple hospital units, engaging with a diverse interdisciplinary team, including occupational and speech therapists. The team provides real-time documentation and point-of-service care, with training provided to facilitate clinical responsibilities.
