Job Details

• Position Description: Working as part of a Mobile MRI unit for a healthcare provider, supporting the startup and ongoing operation of a newly established MRI service.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist ARRT (MR). Education: Valid MRI license, willingness to wait for license submission. Experience: 1 year of MRI technologist experience. Location: Not specified.
• Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts per week, scheduled between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The MRI department operates one Siemens scanner and performs various imaging studies, including brain, spine, MRA, and body scans. The role involves physician communication, working independently as the sole technologist, and starting IVs when necessary. This position does not require float, weekend, or holiday work, and no call or standby is required. Scrubs are not provided, but uniform policy includes grey scrubs, if specified. The department uses EPIC and Fuji PACS systems.
