Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician Location not specified. This role involves supporting electrophysiology procedures in a specialized cardiology unit. The technician will be responsible for scrub and monitoring all EP cases, ensuring adherence to safety and technical standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift from 0700 to 1630, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No weekend rotations; on-call responsibilities may involve staying late on various days.
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; ARRT or RCIS (preference for ARRT); at least 2 years of electrophysiology experience.
- Specialty: Electrophysiology
- Technology/Equipment: Phillips, Siemens, St. Jude monitors, Cernero EMR, IV pumps, Alaris, Omnicell, Steritaxis.
- Additional Responsibilities: Scrub and monitor all EP cases; support within the department including collaboration with cardiologists, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Orientation: 4-5 days of facility and unit-specific training.
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day.
- Minimum Experience: 0 years (required experience specifies 2 years).
