Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician INTRA CL Location Not Specified. This role involves preparing patients for vascular and interventional imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring quality image production. The position requires collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver safe, efficient, and effective diagnostic and interventional services.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days, 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week, with on-call requirements.
  • Required Qualifications: HS diploma or GED, ARRT registration, State of Utah Rad Tech License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience, 0.0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS or PALS certification.
  • Responsibilities include patient preparation, identifying exam needs, producing quality images, completing documentation, maintaining clean work areas, transporting patients, developing knowledge of invasive and interventional supplies, and applying procedures to achieve hemostasis when indicated.
  • Additional responsibilities involve understanding x-ray generation and safety, operating imaging equipment, providing patient education, and assisting in procedural tasks according to policies and scope of practice.
  • Skills required include vascular and interventional experience, patient identification, exam preparation, and proficiency with diagnostic procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Additional skills encompass computer use, medication preparation, manual dexterity, ability to lift heavy items, navigate busy environments, and stand for extended periods.
  • The position is starting on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/12/2026.
