Job Summary
Dietitian Location: unspecified. This role involves providing inpatient nutritional care for adult and pediatric patients within a hospital setting. The position supports patients with conditions such as obesity, prediabetes, cancer, celiac disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, malnutrition, and eating disorders. The focus is on delivering comprehensive dietary assessments and interventions to improve patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Registered Dietitian (RD), WV State Licensure, BLS Certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call remote coverage approximately every 6-8 weeks for adult patients and every 4-5 weeks for pediatric patients.
• Responsibilities: Managing 8-10 patient consultations per day involving various diagnoses such as obesity, prediabetes, cancer, celiac disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, malnutrition, and eating disorders. Providing department and unit-specific orientation.
• Certifications: BLS Certification.
• Additional Information: Experience in inpatient clinical settings and pediatric experience are preferred. Candidates must submit an unexpired copy of their drivers license along with their application. The role requires working in EPIC electronic medical records and wearing sea mist green scrubs or business casual attire. Floating coverage for staff days off may be required.
