Job Summary
Xray Technologist in a Radiology Department, available in a healthcare facility. This position involves producing high-quality diagnostic images using a variety of equipment and technologies, while adhering to safety guidelines and fostering effective communication within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts and locations is required.

Job Details

• Position Description: Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Radiology Department. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an accredited radiography program, valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Must be flexible to work any and all shifts, 7 days a week, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Additional Information: General radiology, diagnostic (X-ray), and surgical experience required. Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication is essential. Radiologic Technologist experience is preferred, along with being organized, efficient, multi-functional, and responsive to on-call pager notifications.
