Job Summary
The Denver, Colorado area is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Ultrasonographer Echo Pediatrics. This position involves performing complex echocardiograms for pediatric patients at a large academic medical center over a 13-week assignment. The role requires providing high-quality imaging and comprehensive reports to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Performs pediatric cardiac ultrasound imaging on a large academic medical center campus with potential to cover additional system-of-care locations, including North, South, Uptown, and Wheatridge.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of a cardiac sonographer program, ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS certification, minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience, recent experience in a large pediatric academic medical center, proficiency in scanning complex congenital heart disease and surgically repaired defects, reliable vehicle for travel, and experience completing full measurements with comprehensive reports. Experience with GE and Philips ultrasound machines is essential.
  • Schedule: 5x8s with variable start times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM if on call). Weeknight call coverage from 5:30 PM 7:00 AM. Weekend shifts may be required from 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Option to work 4x10s during weeks with approved requested time off.
  • Additional Information: The primary location is the main campus, but coverage across the system of care may be required. The position involves on-call responsibilities and possible weekend shifts, with the possibility of floating within practice areas within thirty-five miles of the original assignment location.
