Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in the RTT (Radiation Therapy Technology) specialty, located in New Mexico. This full-time position involves performing radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving X-rays and radioactive substances. The role includes operating specialized X-ray equipment, maintaining treatment records, and ensuring quality patient care aligned with prescribed diagnosis and treatment plans.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification by the American registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) card, New Mexico licensure upon hire, TrueBeam machine experience, Aria/Varian experience, specialized procedures experience (SPRT, SRS, IGRT, IMRT), Associate Degree, MRT License in the state of employment, RRT License in the state of employment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two to five years of clinical experience, IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience.
- Responsibilities: Provides quality patient care as per prescribed diagnosis and treatment, operates specialized X-ray equipment, maintains treatment records, and requisitions supplies and equipment.
- Submission Requirements: Must have valid licenses and certifications listed above.
