Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves supporting interventional, electrophysiology (EP) labs, and vascular procedures within a Level I Trauma setting. The position requires a focus on cardiac and vascular cases, working with Phillips and Siemens equipment, and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL TECH) specialty.
• Location: Area within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Schedule: 12-hour days, starting 10/12/2026, ending 01/11/2027. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications and Education: Must hold ARRT certification and BLS certification; state license to submit is required.
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, including Level I Trauma experience. Valid AZ license is required. Candidate should be able to scrub on cases, including vascular and cardiac procedures. Medical Technologist (MRT)/Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification preferred for techs.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Assist with 10-25 cases per day, including interventional, EP, peripherals, TAVR, MitraClip, IABP, and ENT placement procedures in a Level I Trauma setting. Support for Endoscopic procedures and CVOR is expected.
• Additional Information: No travel teams with Cath Lab RNs. Use Cerner and Xper Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. 30-minute response time required for emergencies. Will work into rotation for weekends and holidays. Two days on-the-job orientation provided. Scrub colors provided.
• Schedule & Staffing: Call required 8-12 days per month, with a 24/7 RT presence and pharmacy coverage.
• Note: The hospital may cancel up to four shifts within the 13-week assignment period, or three shifts for shorter durations.
