Job Summary
Occupational Therapist in Boise, ID This role involves providing occupational therapy services in an acute inpatient setting within a healthcare facility. The position includes coverage of all medical floors, PACU, and emergency department, with occasional floating to other nearby facilities. The selected candidate will work to assist patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and oncology diagnoses, ensuring optimal recovery and function.

Job Details

• Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid state licensure with a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience as a licensed occupational therapist. Required certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Schedule: Rotating shift, four 10-hour days per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a 40-hour workweek.
• Experience or Skills: Experience with neurologic conditions such as CVA, MS, Parkinsons disease, Guillain Barre, cranial surgeries, and spinal surgeries. Familiarity with common diagnoses in acute inpatient settings and the use of electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to float occasionally to other facilities within the designated radius. Orientation includes hospital, documentation, and departmental training over the first 3-5 days. Weekend on-call coverage required every other weekend or one weekend day per week.
• Submission Instructions: Candidates must have the ability to submit a license and be outside the radius rule of 50 miles of the facility.
