Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Location unspecified. This position involves providing external beam radiation treatments for adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires daily treatment administration and patient education, with occasional relocation within the system.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ARRT in Radiation Therapy, and VA License are required.
• Education & Experience: 2 years' experience with Varian True Beam equipment; experience with External Beam, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).
• Requirements: Active VA License at the time of submission.
• Responsibilities: Conduct daily patient treatments, provide patient education surrounding treatment procedures.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
• Additional Information: The position may occasionally require floating to other locations within the system, but such instances are expected to be rare. Position includes orientation which typically lasts for 5 days of 8-hour shifts, with possible extension depending on experience and comfort level.
• Epic access necessary for record and verify systems.
