Job Details

• Position: Ultrasonographer Echo at the healthcare providers facility in Madison, WI.
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times between 0700 and 0900, totaling 40 hours per week. Rotation on weekends may be required to support coverage.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), CCI, or equivalent certification; BLS (American Heart Association only); valid certification in echocardiography (ARDMS RDCS AE, CCI RCCS, or RCS); minimum one-year cardiac experience.
• Additional information: Must meet strict pass/fail telemetry exam criteria prior to start, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks, with up to two attempts allowed. Candidates must have at least two years of recent acute care experience if applicable, with references and certification verification as required.
• Responsibilities include performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, color Doppler, strain imaging, and transesophageal procedures, in various settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and Emergency Departments. Candidates should be able to operate advanced ultrasound equipment, administer ultrasound enhancement agents, and meet the volume expectations of 7 scans per day.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between multiple clinics and hospital units.
