Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric (RT PEDS) in Rhinelander. This position involves providing respiratory care support across all patient care areas, including emergency and general care units, within a healthcare facility. The role requires clinical expertise in ventilator management and patient assessment, supporting both routine and emergency respiratory services.

Job Details

• Position Description: Respiratory Therapist supporting all hospital areas, including Emergency Department and general care. Provides emergency Rapid Response and CodeBlue services with expertise in Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, and Patient Assessment. Equipment used includes Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 and Optiflow, Resmed S10 auto CPAPs. Provides services to patients of all ages.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree; Wisconsin Licensure; Certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Nitric oxide (NO) therapy experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and NBRC Credential (CRT or RRT).
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue, supports all patient care needs with strong documentation skills, and is resilient and adaptable to change. During flu season, vaccination is mandatory unless wearing a mask at all times.
