Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient, located in the area, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical care within the hospital setting. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams, managing pharmacy operations, and overseeing medication distribution systems to support patient safety and quality standards.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: PharmD from an ACPE-accredited institution required; licensed as a Pharmacist by the State of California Board of Pharmacy required; five (5) years of experience in a hospital pharmacy environment or completion of a PGY1 residency preferred; experience with pharmacy information systems such as Meditech or Epic preferred; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred; experience in managing projects and teams.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, ensuring smooth operation of pharmaceutical care delivery, including clinical, financial, administrative, and information systems operations. Responsible for staffing, workflow management, compliance with regulations, inventory oversight, and quality assurance. Performs duties of the Director of Pharmacy in their absence and may perform staff pharmacist duties as needed.
