Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) in the Los Angeles area. This position involves operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physicians' orders, with responsibilities including patient positioning, equipment adjustment, and safety monitoring during procedures.

Job Details

Position: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist (CCL TECH)
Location: Los Angeles area
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Shift start times may vary between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) certification, Radiologic Technician (RT) license in California, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Fluoroscopy license in California within 6 months of hire, fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of X-ray technician experience including portable and C-arm procedures.
Additional Information: Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explains procedures to patients, and prepares equipment and examination rooms. Monitors patient safety during exams and ensures proper documentation. Verifies exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Performs other related duties as assigned.
