Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Bryan, TX. This inpatient acute care position involves providing physical therapy services to adult and older teen patients at a Level III trauma center. The role includes performing evaluations, treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and mobility.
Job Details
- Location: Bryan, TX
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week, from 09/08/2026 to 12/01/2026
- Certifications: BLS Certification required; licensure to submit required
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in adult acute care settings or trauma and critical care; no minimum experience requirement specified
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must have been employed outside of any facility associated with the organization within the past year.
- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination.
- May be asked to precept as needed by the unit.
- Patient volume includes approximately 1 completed evaluation per hour, with some treatments expected during shifts.
- The primary area will be inpatient acute care for Bryan hospital, with possible minimal coverage at another nearby acute care hospital.
- Orientation will be provided to hospital procedures, EMR system, and protocols for 3-5 days depending on experience.
- Most patients are adults or older teens with diagnoses including trauma, neuro, ortho, surgical, oncology, and medical conditions.
