Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) The organization is seeking an outpatient physical therapist to join the team. The role involves evaluating patients, establishing treatment plans, administering diagnostic tests, and providing patient education to restore function and promote recovery at a healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Location: The position is based at a healthcare facility with a rotating shift schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, administering diagnostic tests to determine patient impairment and prognosis, and implementing treatment modalities. The therapist provides documentation of care, patient/family education, and communicates with other healthcare providers. The position also includes mentoring for new personnel, maintaining departmental standards, and participating in ongoing professional development.
• Preferred Qualifications: Documentation of Specialist Certification in a focused clinical area.
