Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) The organization is seeking an outpatient physical therapist to join the team. Job Details:
- Location: The position is based at a healthcare facility with a rotating shift schedule.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, administering diagnostic tests to determine patient impairment and prognosis, and implementing treatment modalities. The therapist provides documentation of care, patient/family education, and communicates with other healthcare providers. The position also includes mentoring for new personnel, maintaining departmental standards, and participating in ongoing professional development.
- Preferred Qualifications: Documentation of Specialist Certification in a focused clinical area.
