Description

Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo in the Ultrasonographer Echo specialty is needed at a healthcare provider in a hospital or health system setting. This role involves performing adult full and limited echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiogram procedures, and associated tasks independently. The position requires the ability to handle a high patient volume and work efficiently within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and NM licensing are required. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred, but the minimum experience required is 0 years.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, totaling at least 40 hours per week, with start date on 09/14/2026 and end date on 12/14/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Ability to independently perform adult echocardiograms, including TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram), with a daily workload of at least 7 procedures. Pediatric experience is a plus. Must be able to perform adult full and limited echocardiograms, TEE procedures, and clean TEE probes.
  • Additional Information: The role involves performing adult echocardiograms both in inpatient and outpatient settings, with call responsibilities after hours and on weekends. Additional responsibilities include writing preliminary echo reports, managing TEE procedures, and operating within a patient ratio of 5:1. No floating is required, and the role uses HMS and Freeland for Echo reports. The blackout period for RTO (Request for Time Off) is from May 06 to May 18, 2026.
