Physical Therapist Assistant (SNF) Texas: This role involves working under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide therapeutic treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. The position requires building and managing caseloads through patient referrals and treatment opportunities to meet productivity expectations.

Job Details

• Position Description: Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) experience, Texas or Compact licensure, documentation required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 11/09/2026
• End Date: 02/08/2027
• Additional Information: Applicants should be prepared to proactively manage patient caseloads while meeting facility productivity standards. Barriers to treatment should be communicated to facility leadership and efforts made to reschedule or complete treatments appropriately.
