Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT Outpatient) in an outpatient setting. This position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and coordinating therapy services to promote functional recovery and safe return to community activities. The role emphasizes education, patient safety, and adherence to organizational standards.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active applicable license for the state where work will be performed; experience with outpatient therapy preferred; 6-month duration desired.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation, including goal writing, assessment, and billing records, in accordance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Participates in student programs, providing supervision and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Maintains professional licensure and completes all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Applies clinical reasoning and adheres to organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety protocols, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and hazard reporting.
• Upholds standards of professional conduct and organizational values while maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices.
