Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) This position is located on a medical campus and involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients. The role requires collaborative patient management in a high-acuity setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function for vulnerable populations during scheduled night shifts.

Job Details

Position Title: Respiratory Therapist
Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
Schedule: Night shifts, including weekends (13 out of 26 weekends required), with no more than 4 RTO dates during the contract.
Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, prior travel assignment experience, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, minimum three years pediatric ICU experience, minimum three years neonatal ICU experience, minimum one year pediatric level 1 trauma experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
Float: Float rotation may be required to support other areas of practice within clinical competence within the Denver Metro area.
Additional Information: Must be available to work Thanksgiving holiday (11/25, 11/26, 11/27). Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period. No RTO (Requested Time Off) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
Employment Period: 10/06/2026 to 01/09/2027.
