Interventional Radiology Technologist, in Round Rock, TX, performs interventional radiology procedures under general supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves executing high-quality IR procedures, maintaining optimal imaging standards, and providing excellent patient care in accordance with established protocols.
Job Details
- Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Specialty: Interventional Radiology CL (Clinical)
- Location: Round Rock, TX
- Schedule: 4x10s, Mon-Fri (day shift), 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (R), Texas MRT license, at least 1 year of minimum experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive multimodality procedures and knowledge of safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies
- Additional Information: Performs high-quality IR procedures, prepares patients, maintains equipment and supplies, ensures safety protocols, documents procedures correctly, and provides patient education. Must be able to serve as a preceptor, take call if required, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
