Job Summary
Physical Therapist (Inpatient) The organization is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services in a healthcare facility. The role involves assessing, developing, and implementing individualized care plans for diverse patient populations, with an emphasis on orthopedic and sports medicine cases. The position requires adherence to licensure standards and professional guidelines, with a focus on patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Responsible for performing initial and re-evaluations within the first 60 minutes, creating comprehensive plans of care incorporating patient input, and modifying treatment strategies as needed.
  • Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows. No minimum years of experience required.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role includes providing patient education, documenting care accurately, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and managing scheduling and billing. The therapist will also support ongoing education and stay current with relevant certifications and guidelines, including EPIC electronic medical records system proficiency.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete an EPIC assessment on their first day of assignment.
