Description
Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo (Specialty) in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing advanced echocardiography procedures in a hospital environment, supporting diagnostic imaging needs across diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role requires proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as specialized testing like bubble studies and pharmacologic stress echoes.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, CCI, ARRT Sonography, ARDMS or CCIS.
- Education Requirements: Relevant certifications with at least 1 year of experience; valid state license (compact license preferred).
- Position type: Ultrasonographer Echo.
- Schedule: Shift Time Days; Shift Hours 12; Minimum Hours Per Week 36.
- Required Qualifications: Experience in adult and pediatric acute care settings; proficiency in reporting, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), Watchman device procedures, mitral clips, and bubble studies.
- Additional Information: Must be proficient in imaging with contrast, performing procedures on ICU/ED patients, and operating specialized equipment such as GE and Philips ultrasound systems. Must also respond to RTO and scheduling requests during application submission and am available to work scheduled holidays.
- Candidate must include responses to specific questions about prior work at Providence facilities, and provide two references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the past 3 years.
- Willingness to float between nearby facilities may be required; refusal to float may affect employment terms.
- No contact with facility staff outside of the interview process unless arranged through authorized communication channels.
- Module completion is required pre-start and during orientation, with times recorded in internal transcripts.
