Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP) Located in a rural area, this position involves providing speech therapy services within a 25-bed critical access hospital and outpatient department. The role encompasses a broad range of patient ages and diagnoses, with primarily outpatient care and occasional inpatient duties in a general practice setting.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS certification (American Heart Association); Minnesota licensure required, Iowa licensure preferred; experience requirement: 1 year.
• Schedule: Day shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, with a rotating shift schedule. Flexibility in scheduling is possible.
• Additional Details: Position may include float to over units/departments, including clinics in Adrian and Rock Rapids if necessary, though primary assignment is at the main location. The department utilizes EPIC documentation; orientation includes departmental training, documentation procedures, and equipment familiarization. Staff is available for assistance and questions.
• Clinical Responsibilities: General speech therapy services for inpatient and outpatient patients, using general therapy equipment, with a focus on providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.
