Job Summary

Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the NUC specialty this position is located in an acute care setting. The role involves performing radionuclide procedures, exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests, and preparing patients for nuclear imaging testing. The technologist ensures proper documentation and accurate operation of imaging equipment to support diagnostic processes.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Responsible for performing radionuclide procedures, exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests, and patient preparation for nuclear imaging testing. Ensures proper documentation and fills out required forms within the computer system.
  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid NYS state license, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB, BLS (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shifts, with 1-hour lunch, totaling 35 paid hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid NYS state license, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB, BLS (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for performing exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests, preparing patients, accurate documentation, and filling out forms. Charting system used is Allscripts.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate certifications and experience as outlined.
