Job Details

• Position Description: Occupational Therapy Assistant focusing on inpatient care in a general acute care setting, with a patient census of approximately 250 active consults per day.
• Location: The role is based at a healthcare facility in Wichita, KS.
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Kansas licensure, BLS certification, 6 months minimum acute care hospital occupational therapy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, comprehensive stroke experience.
• Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy treatments, working independently with high accountability, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Certifications and Education: Must have an active license in Kansas and BLS certification.
• Experience requirement: 0 years.
• Additional Information: Must be able to work independently with little oversight, demonstrate good communication skills, and be flexible given the nature of acute care practice.
