The Occupational Therapist will work closely with an interdisciplinary team under the supervision of the Home Health and Hospice Manager.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Occupational Therapist is an essential member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for developing, administering, and implementing therapeutic services aimed at helping patients regain their optimal level of function in activities such as self-care, leisure, and work.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum, eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association, licensed by the State of Oregon as an Occupational Therapist, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid drivers license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Schedule: Shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation; minimum of 40 hours per week. Must work holidays including Thanksgiving and New Years.
• Additional Information: The role involves independent work and collaboration, assessing and reassessing patients, and documenting all care activities accurately. Must be adaptable to emergency situations and changes in patient condition. The employee supports the organizations mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, and will participate in required education programs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if applicable.
