Job Details

• Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients toward discharge within the established length of stay.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including documentation, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using approved formats in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval, as indicated and necessary for clinical care of the patient.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision, development of learning objectives, and completion of evaluations.
• Actively create an individualized professional development plan with clinical management.
• Identify and initiate own professional growth, pursue continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations.
• Apply learned information to meet the organizations strategic objectives.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and other regulatory agencies, maintaining licensure in good standing and completing all mandated continuing education requirements.
• Perform in an ethical manner aligned with professional codes of conduct.
• Demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives and follow through with action plans.
