Job Summary
A Mammographer position is available in the Mammography (MAMMO) specialty at a healthcare facility in Libertyville, Illinois. This role involves performing 3D mammography, screening and diagnostic exams, stereotactic biopsies, and ensuring quality assurance on mammogram units. The position requires approximately 40 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours.

Job Details

• Position Description: Mammographer responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging, including stereotactic biopsies, with experience in Hologic systems, PenRad, and DEXA scans.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ARRT credential, Illinois IEMA license (must be obtained prior to start), minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Support on the Unit: Supervisors, RT (Radiologic Technologists), and hospitalists available 24/7.
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record system; experience with 3D mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and quality assurance on mammo units preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes at least one shift to learn facility and unit flow. Weekend rotation required every other Saturday. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Free parking is available.
