Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in a critical access facility. The position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients, including managing ventilators, administering respiratory treatments, and assisting with high-risk deliveries. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid respiratory therapy license in the state, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications, 1 year of experience recommended, and licensure in the state with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Providing respiratory treatments, managing ventilator systems, participating in neonatal and pediatric transports, and assisting with procedures such as arterial punctures, intubation, and extubation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and neonatal procedures.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to whether they have prior experience at a Providence facility, along with two references covering a year within the last three years.
