Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist located in Long Beach. This position involves providing radiation therapy services, utilizing specialized equipment such as the Varian TrueBeam and VitalBeam accelerators, the CT Simulator, and treatment planning systems. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current CRT license in the State of California; Active ARRT license in Radiation Therapy; Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certificate; at least 1 year of experience; familiarity with Epic documentation system; possessing required technical knowledge of department equipment including Varian TrueBeam and VitalBeam accelerators, CT Simulation, Aria Treatment Planning System
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care; proficiency in B-Mode Acquisition targeting, dose calculation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and radiation safety practices
• Additional Information: The candidate will be expected to float within hospital departments based on census and patient needs. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application. Nursys license verification must be provided within two weeks of submission. All modules are conducted during pre-start and orientation, with hours varying by specialty.
