Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located at a major healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care in a fast-paced, critical care environment with a focus on pediatric patients. The position requires delivering respiratory therapy treatments, ventilator management, and invasive and non-invasive procedures to support patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides respiratory therapy treatments, ventilator management, and invasive and non-invasive procedures within a critical care unit.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 months current Respiratory Therapist (RT) experience, NBRC Certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, at least 1-year experience preferred, located in the Wichita, KS area.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have pediatric/PICU experience and strong ICU background. The facility offers 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, Level 1 trauma, PICU, Level 3 NICU, and ECMO support in adults.
