Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) position in Tacoma, WA. This role involves assisting with a variety of pediatric imaging procedures, including biopsies, ultrasound-guided procedures, and drain placements, within a newly established pediatric trauma center. The selected candidate will be cross-trained to assist with general X-ray and procedural duties, working independently as the only Interventional Radiology/Procedural Technologist.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: ARRT- R certification, BLS certification, WA state license, at least 1 year of experience; experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. It includes every other weekend as part of a 7 on/7 off rotation.
- Additional Information: Will be cross-trained to general X-ray; comfortable working independently; help assist with procedures in fluoro room; may assist with procedures in computed tomography but will not operate scanners; attire flexible with any scrub color; free garage parking or nearby light rail available; no on-call requirements.
- Candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and demonstrate kindness and patience with children and their families.
