Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) A healthcare organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient role in a hospital setting. The position involves evaluating, planning, and providing occupational therapy treatments aligned with physician referrals, regulatory standards, and departmental policies. The role emphasizes delivering patient-centered care across a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for the evaluation, planning, administration, and supervision of occupational therapy treatments, demonstrating clinical competence to provide age-appropriate care.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited occupational therapy educational program, current occupational therapy license from the state of practice, BLS certification.
• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per day; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Evaluates patients' functional abilities to determine intervention needs, establishes treatment plans with measurable goals, and collaborates with patients and families. Documents patient progress in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Participates in departmental process improvements and may assist in training new personnel. Demonstrates adaptability and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
