Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in an acute care setting. This role involves supporting high-risk coronary and neurovascular procedures, including STEMI interventions, within a dynamic cath lab environment. The technologist will perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating responsibilities to contribute to patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active Illinois license or confirmation of application initiation, ARRT certification, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and Certified Radiologic Technologist-ARRT. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting.
• Schedule: 5 days per week, shifts starting at 0700 or 0830, with a shift duration of 9 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Scrubbing, monitoring, circulating during coronary and neurovascular high risk interventions, including STEMI procedures; willingness to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional procedures during call.
• Additional Information: Unit operates 24/7 cardiologist staffing, with a supervisor or charge available during operating hours. Expectation to participate in call, including 4 weekends in a 13-week period, with a 30-minute response time. Floating to electrophysiology (EP) or interventional radiology (IR) units may be required. Scrubs are provided, with a unit-specific orientation of 5 shifts.
