Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Peds/Adult Location unspecified. This position involves providing respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within a facility that treats trauma, performs open heart surgeries, and utilizes advanced respiratory therapies. The role requires flexibility to cover NICU, PICU, and adult ICU units on a rotating schedule.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, CRT certifications required; ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT preferred. Must have at least 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience. Pending license accepted but must be in hand at the time of auto-offer.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Cover NICU, PICU, and adult ICU units within scope; float to meet facility needs; work scheduled on major holidays including Christmas holiday; be available to work for 13 or 26 weeks starting as soon as possible.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators such as Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and neonatal ventilators; ability to manage a variety of respiratory therapies including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, nitric oxide, and compliance with trauma experience.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to specific questions about previous work at Providence facilities, provide two references covering the last year, and include all requested documentation during submission.
• Additional Job Information: The unit includes adult ICU, PICU, and NICU, with specialized equipment such as Draeger vents, Servo-I, and Jet ventilators. Large patient volume with trauma, open heart surgeries, and diverse respiratory therapies.
