Description

Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Honolulu, HI. This role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services within an inpatient and acute care setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The position supports patient recovery through advanced therapeutic interventions in a fast-paced medical environment.

Job Details

  • Qualifications: Graduate from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program; current Hawaii State license as an Occupational Therapist; current BLS/HCP certification; all licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract.
  • Experience: Two (2) or more years of full-time staff experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient/acute care setting (not including travel assignments). Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred.
  • Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per day; minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Compliance: Must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay or cancel the assignment.
  • Additional Information: If the Occupational Therapist is not needed on their unit or similar unit as an RN, they will be assigned to be a nursing assistant or a safety sitter. It is expected that they fulfill that role.
