Job Summary
Cytologist Cytology Laboratory Technician in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves performing cytology procedures within an inpatient laboratory, requiring strong cytotechnologist skills and at least one year of related experience. The role supports the organization's diagnostic services, working closely with the pathology team to ensure accurate sample analysis.

Job Details

• Position Description: Lab cytology technician with at least one year of experience. Will accept first-time travelers. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site procedures, making smears, staining, and preliminary diagnosis.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active MD or Compact License required; ASCP certification (ASCP-C, ASCP-CT preferred), BLS certification, and at least one year of cytology experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Additional Responsibilities: May be required to float within scope of practice within the specialty.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be compliant with onboarding, including labs within 72 hours of signing and submitting all necessary documentation five days prior to start date.
