Job Summary
Dietitian, Inpatient This position is located at an inpatient healthcare facility. The Inpatient Registered Dietitian will develop, coordinate, and participate in nutritional care for hospitalized patients. The role involves collaboration with food service, nursing, and medical staff to ensure patient nutritional needs are met and diet-related orders are accurately followed. The position also supports outpatient dietitian coverage and participates in quality improvement and accreditation processes.
Job Details
- Position: Dietitian Inpatient
- Shift: Days Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree; Illinois (AK) Dietitian License; Registered Dietitian (RD) credential via Commission on Dietetic Registration; BLS (AHA). Experience requirement: 1 year of hospital dietitian experience; additional details include willing to wait for license submission
- Responsibilities include planning and delivering nutritional care, coordinating with food service and clinical staff, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
- Certification: BLS (AHA), Registered Dietitian
- Submission: License to submit; candidate must be willing to wait for AK license issuance
