Job Summary
MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty, located at the healthcare provider. This position involves performing MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, working independently to apply appropriate scanning techniques for both adult and pediatric patients. The role requires responsibility for the designated area and procedures, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic quality.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs MRI procedures according to protocols established by radiologists; executes procedures for both adult and pediatric patients requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed and appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnosis; assumes responsibility of designated area and procedures performed; prepares and screens patients and objects for magnet safety. Equipment used includes Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, and FUJI PACS.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in MRI, BLS (AHA) certification, and a minimum of 5 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Schedule: Night shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: May work alone at times; floating to other units/departments may be required; shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide references, resume, skills documentation, and copies of certifications. All time off requests must be disclosed. COVID vaccination is required, with exemption options available upon submission of exemption forms.
