Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) The organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist in an inpatient setting. This position involves providing therapeutic services, conducting cognitive testing, and leading structured group activities within a behavioral therapy environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Prepare and lead at least two structured groups daily, conduct 1:1 therapy sessions as needed, and perform cognitive assessments such as MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment), SLUMS (St. Louis University Mental Status Exam), and CPT (Cognitive Performance Testing). Use EPIC charting system for documentation.
- Required Qualifications: Active License to Practice in the state of practice, BLS certification through the American Heart Association, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Specialty: Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP)
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift may vary between 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Additional Information: Must have Epic experience, possess the necessary licensure, and be able to prepare and lead therapeutic activities in an inpatient acute care setting.
