Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting with a focus on diagnostic and interventional procedures. Based in a busy cardiac cath program, the role requires skilled execution of complex interventional cardiac catheterizations for adult and pediatric patients. The position involves full-time daytime hours, on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays, with a typical response time of 30 minutes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., four days per week with one day off
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Certification, 2-3 years of complex interventional catheterization experience in a high-volume cardiac program, license/certificate verification, professional profile and references, and completion of Ascension skills checklist
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric cardiac procedures, proficiency in advanced cardiac interventions, strong understanding of cardiac cath lab protocols
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations for adult and pediatric populations within a large advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant environment. Candidates must be able to respond quickly during on-call hours and demonstrate competence in complex procedures.
