Job Summary
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician) position in the ULTRA ECHO specialty is located in Saint Louis. This role involves independently performing echocardiograms for inpatient and outpatient settings utilizing Philips ultrasound equipment. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols, including bubble study procedures and ultrasound enhancing agents.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS eligible; BLS certification required; minimum of 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Independently perform daily inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms, including bubble studies, and utilize Philips ultrasound technology. Familiarity with ultrasound enhancing agents such as Definity is required. EPIC experience and stress testing skills are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires working in a cardiac care unit, with a focus on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and clinical standards.
