Job Details

• Position Description: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) responsible for delivering respiratory care treatments, ventilator management, and invasive and noninvasive procedures within a critical care environment.
• Location: Wichita, KS, at a facility with a 760-bed capacity and a comprehensive respiratory therapy unit.
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess current NBRC Certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, with a minimum of 6 months of current Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric/PICU experience and strong ICU background are highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The unit features advanced equipment including V800 Draeger vents, C1 Hamiltons, and Airvo for HHFNC. The team maintains a dynamic environment with 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, Level 1 trauma designation, and specialized units including PICU and NICU.
