Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Wichita, KS. This seasonal travel position involves working on the Respiratory Therapy Unit at a large, busy healthcare facility. The role requires providing respiratory care treatments, ventilator management, and working in a fast-paced critical care environment to support adult and pediatric patients.
Job Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- End Date: 01/11/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist with NBRC Certification; BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS; current experience of at least 6 months as a Respiratory Therapist; no minimum experience required, but candidates must have current RN experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric or PICU experience, strong ICU background, experience with Ventilator management including invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Additional Information: Unit features new equipment including V800 Draeger Ventilators, C1 Hamilton S, and Airvo for High-Flow Nasal Cannula. The unit supports adult ICU, Level 1 trauma, PICU, Level 3 NICU, and ECMO procedures, with 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage.
