Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a healthcare facility located in Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients in a busy respiratory care department. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology in a dynamic environment, ensuring quality patient care during peak seasons.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a current Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT) certification, a minimum of 6 months recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Education, degree, and licensing requirements are verified accordingly.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experienced with critical care settings, prior Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience, and prior pediatric or neonatal respiratory care experience.
• Additional Information: The department specializes in airway management, ventilator management, and supports both adult and pediatric patients. The unit is equipped with G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 ventilators. Patient care and communication skills are essential. This is a competitive market, and candidates with prior critical care experience and Meditech familiarity are highly sought after.
