Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Outpatient (OP) care will provide treatment for orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting. This role involves evaluating and managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions, communicating treatment plans with medical teams, and reporting patient progress to physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. The position requires collaboration with a team of therapists to deliver high-quality outpatient orthopedic care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Alternative schedule options include a 32-hour work week with compensation adjusted accordingly.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license for the practicing state, at least 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist, outpatient orthopedic experience, and manual therapy techniques.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating spains, strains, and fractures; ability to treat 14-16 patients per day; outpatient orthopedic experience highly desired.
- Additional Information: This role involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, communicating effectively with medical teams, and providing assistance to colleagues in diagnosis and treatment planning.
