Description
Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo (Pediatric) in Foothills. This position involves performing ultrasonography procedures, including TEE, TTE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress tests, with a focus on pediatric cardiology. The role requires proficiency in scanning valve pathology and Neonatal echo, supporting outpatient and inpatient services within a healthcare provider setting.
Job Details
- Location: Foothills, with float to outpatient clinics for pediatric patients.
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts on days, including weekends and on-call.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasonography; valid license to submit; ability to proficiently scan valve pathology on transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), stress echo, and dobutamine stress test; neonatal echo and structural heart experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Must have experience and knowledge of pathology including aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), valve regurgitation, amyloid, mitral stenosis, valve repair and replacement, high pulmonary artery pressures (HPEF), shortness of breath, atrial fibrillation (AFib). Scrubs required for outpatient and inpatient procedures, with hospital provided scrubs for inpatients.
